Bean Hollow Beach(Bean Hollow State Beach)

This beach is from where Bean Hollow State Beach got its name. Located at the southern end of the the park, Bean Hollow Beach’s biggest draw is its expansive sandy beach. It also offers the majority of the park’s parking, restrooms and picnic tables. Visitors should note that coastal highways and the beach’s limited parking quickly fills up on weekends and hot summer days.

The beaches southern end features small secluded beaches and alcoves. Also at the southern end you’ll find the start of scenic Arroyo de los Frijoles Trail. This mile long trail offers a spectacular coastal experience as it showcases the natural habitats and wildlife along the San Mateo County coast.
